Energy price and pollution often go hand in hand: in the early hours of the day, grid energy is expensive and produced mainly from fossil sources. In the middle of the day, when every solar system is feeding power into the market, energy becomes clean but its price collapses. A standard inverter charges the battery in the morning and sells the excess in the afternoon. A mechanism that runs exactly against market dynamics, making you sell your energy when it is worth the least and hold on to it when it is worth the most. Wattora reverses this process: it sells first, when the market pays more for the electricity, and charges the battery later, checking weather forecasts in real time to make sure there will be enough sun to fill the battery.
